4月，大地返青，春意盎然。清明节，是中国传统节日之一，也是最重要的祭祀节日。4月8日清晨，黑利伯瑞全体师生齐聚校园操场，诉说着学子们对祖国深深的敬意，对先烈浓浓的哀思。今天的升旗仪式由高中部甄梓彤、尹龙焕两位同学主持。本次升旗仪式旨在追忆历史、传承文化，希望通过升旗仪式，大家能对中华文化，民族精神有更深的体会。
仪式在雄壮的国歌声中拉开帷幕，此刻的国歌声，因为有了对先烈的缅怀而显得愈加庄严。随后，师生进行了“缅怀先烈”为主题的国旗下演讲。演讲中，缅怀了为民族独立、人民解放、国家富强而抛头颅，洒热血的革命先烈们，正是他们的无畏，才换来了后代子孙和平幸福的生活。如今，先辈们用不朽的精神，磨砺着我们的青春斗志，激励着我们勇往直前。

亲爱的老师、同学们：
大家好!我是来自高中部的田明哲，能够作为升旗仪式上的升旗手，我感到十分荣幸，对于给与我这次机会的老师和同学们表示感谢。
在学习中，我勤奋、刻苦，课堂上我专心听讲，课后能按时认真完成作业，学习成绩优异。在我的心里有自己追求的目标，我想：只要有一颗向上的心，总有一天会到达成功。在生活中，我兴趣爱好广泛，会吹萨克斯，尤其热爱体育户外运动，我是一名乐于助人、团结同学的学生。谢谢大家!

在清明假期，很多家庭，都是在父母的带领下，举家祭祀扫墓，目的在于缅怀祖先，传承中华民族传统文化;每一所学校，也都以不同的形式，在德育管理阵地举行各式各样的纪念活动，缅怀着创造新中国、建设新中国的革命先辈。这里，小家与大家，都有一个最质朴的愿望，就是让我们这些当代中国人，能够永远传承爱国爱家的情怀。
Dear Teachers and Students,
Good Morning! On the Tomb-sweeping Day, many families, led by their elders, offered sacrifices to their ancestors, in order to inherit the endless customs and virtues of each family. Each school, in different forms, held various commemorative activities in the moral education base or under the national flag, in memory of the revolutionary ancestors who created and built the new China. Here, everyone has a simple idea that all the Chinese people in the contemporary society can forever brand the feelings of patriotism.
今天，在庄严的升旗仪式上，我们凝视着烈士鲜血所染的国旗，不觉思绪又回到那艰苦峥嵘的岁月：旧中国饱受战争的磨难和屈辱。祖国危难之时，无数爱国志士挺身而出，为了祖国的独立统一和人民的解放，甘洒一腔热血。无数英烈历尽千辛万苦，用他们的生命，谱写了一曲曲壮烈的爱国乐章。
Today, at this flag-raising ceremony, we gaze at the flag dyed by the blood of revolutionary heroes, and unconsciously return to the hard and glorious years: old China suffered from the hardships and humiliation of the war. When our nation was in danger, countless patriots have come forward to spare no effort for the independence and reunification of the motherland and the liberation of the people. Countless heroes wrote a magnificent patriotic movement with their lives, through a lot of hardships and sweat.
正是因为他们，才有延续的生命!

It is because of them that we can have a lasting life!

In memory of the great achievements of the heroes and looking forward to a perfect future, we will surely prove everything with our own practical actions.
