This month our Veritas social practice place was the famous National Museum in Beijing. The hot weather on Thursday did not prevent the students from having fun and learning a lot of knowledge about ancient Chinese culture. After arrival, all of the teachers and students were separated into small groups to begin their journey of discovery. Some of the students had been there before, so they voluntarily served as tour guides and those who had not been here before listened carefully. Immersed in the ocean of history, the students introduced the broad and profound Chinese history and culture to their American teachers while experiencing our nation’s inclusion of world culture and internationalization. Time always flies fast when we are concentrated. The students and teachers ended this historical and cultural adventure reluctantly and hoped for more.

　　本月美国威力塔斯学校北京社会实践地点为著名的国家博物馆。周四酷热的天气也没有阻挡同学与老师们了解中国历史文化的热情。抵达后同学们便分成几个小组与中外教一同展开了国家博物馆“探索之旅”。之前参观过的同学们都热情地为没有去过的老师与同学讲解，没去过的同学都认真倾听。同学们一一走过历史的长廊，历史文物与生动的照片和绘画吸引了他们的眼球。沉浸在历史海洋中的同学们给外教一一讲解我国博大精深的历史文化，同时共同体会我们对世界的包容和国际化。专注的时候时间都过得很快，全体师生带着不舍结束了本次历史文化之旅，意犹未尽……
